The artwork is a black-and-cream halftone illustration after an antique engraving: a single bone-white ink on deep black fabric, rendered in the high-contrast chiaroscuro tradition of old Baroque masters. The colossus dominates — massive, kneeling, its face long worn to a featureless blank. One great fist drives downward through the cathedral floor. Its lower body dissolves into rubble and falling architectural debris, ribbed vaults and flying buttresses fracturing in the background, the whole figure bleeding into shadow and scratched dust-trails at the hem.
