This is the Charybdis Mother Dissolution Noir Tee — a heavyweight black unisex tee carrying a single-ink black-and-cream illustration so dense and dramatic it stops people mid-scroll and mid-street.

The Artwork

Rendered in bone-cream halftone on pure black, the image pulls from the deepest register of Baroque chiaroscuro — think Caravaggio shadow, salt-bleached texture, scratched crosshatching. A colossal sea-mother erupts from a churning gyre, her upper torso and roaring face rising clear and legible from the current, hair splayed wide into surrounding spirals of water. Her right hand — five fingers rendered in full, barnacled and massive — presses flat against the surface as though sealing something down in the dark below her. Her left arm dissolves outward into the gyre. Below the waist she doesn't end — she unravels, her form bleeding into spiraling ink and drip-streaks that run down the fabric and dissolve into the vast black negative space beneath her. At the base, a clean serif lockup in widely-spaced small capitals reads: ALL WATER RETURNS TO ME — finished with a small dagger ornament. Nothing decorative. Every mark earns its place.
