A broken reliquary chain hangs loose from its dissolving spine, a tarnished saint's casket swinging from its own vertebrae. The fur and bone are picked out in harsh raking light; Caravaggio shadow pools deep beneath the altar. The beast's lower edge doesn't end cleanly — it decays into long vertical drips and gouge-marks, swallowed by vast black negative space, before giving way to a tight two-line lockup in widely-spaced small capitals: RELIQUARY OF THE LAST BEAST / ALTAR OF UNMAKING.
