Thistle Saint Burial Noir Tee — Original
A collapsing saint, a crown of thistles, nightshade rising. This is dark devotional art on a heavyweight vintage white tee — and it wears unlike anything else in your wardrobe.
The graphic is drawn from an antique engraving — an old master's line, not a generated image. A gaunt, barefoot saint kneels mid-collapse on a black field, her hands still pressed together in prayer while a tide of flowering nightshade vines erupts from a crack in the earth and climbs her wrists and forearms. Her face tips skyward in a grimace caught between ecstasy and terror. A ring of dried thistles replaces the usual crown of thorns. Below her, the vines dissolve into scratched drips of pigment — the lower half of the image swallowed by darkness. It is printed in a single bone-cream ink on black: dense, textured, monochrome. The look is closer to a museum vitrine than a merch rack.
The garment is vintage white — a softened, lived-in off-white that makes the black graphic land harder by contrast. Heavyweight cotton with a broken-in feel from the first wear. Cut as a unisex fit: relaxed through the chest and shoulders, slightly dropped sleeve, the kind of silhouette that works cropped or untucked.
Perfect for:
• Anchoring an all-black fit — the cream graphic does the talking
• Layering open under a dark overshirt or structured jacket for an editorial edge
• Pairing with wide-leg trousers or a long skirt when you want art-on-your-body energy
• Gifting to the person whose wardrobe lives between gothic, vintage, and art-world
The details:
• Garment colour: Vintage White
• Artwork: Monochrome, single bone/cream ink — no colour, no gradients
• Fit: Unisex — size up if you prefer an oversized silhouette
• Care: Machine wash cold, inside out, low tumble or hang dry to protect the print
