The Vault Seraph Dissolution Noir Tee carries a black-and-cream monochrome illustration drawn directly after an antique engraving from a museum's public-domain collection. This is old master line work — dense cross-hatching, raking chiaroscuro light, and the heavy tonal weight of a Doré-style salon composition — not a digital graphic. A massive seraph, face hidden behind two of its six half-furled wings, is fused into the keystone of a Gothic vault. The stone ribs radiate outward from its shoulders as though it has always been the architecture itself. But something is breaking: a single carved wing pulls free, shedding mortar dust and split voussoirs that fall away into a vast black ground below. Cracked gilt tracery still clings to the feathers like old leaf on a damaged altarpiece. The lower third of the figure dissolves entirely into falling rubble, ink scratches, and stone-chip drips — then nothing but black. A small two-line lockup in widely-spaced serif capitals sits low beneath the void, barely there, like a title plate on a forgotten reliquary.
